After a very long time of not blogging because of too much work, stress (and I hate to admit it - a drop of self confidence...), a friend of mine said she missed Black Book of Curves. She missed my blog.
And that made me realise that I missed it too! Just writing this is giving me mucho energy and joy - and I guess some of it has to do with getting this dress out to you gal pals.
The Starlet dress by Micheline Pitt.
This dress is in a soft velvet, and is the perfect cocktail dress for me with 3/4 length sleeves, and the option to wear the sleeves up or off the shoulders. It comes in sizes from small to 4X, and it will flatter any shape.
As a David Lynch-fan, I have of course pre-ordered in 2X this in the colour Blue Velvet. But it also comes in black and leopard.
The cut of this dress some what reminds me of a Pinup Girl Clothing dress she designed a few years back, which I bought in olive, black and blush pink. Especially the tulip style pencil skirt that doesn´t cling to the belly area.
I´m breaking the bank with this one.
